The main person in the Nickelback group is Chad Kroeger. Chad Kroeger with his brother Mike Kroeger founded NICKELBACK in the 1990’s. In the beginning they played the songs of their favourite rockers in the restaurants and bars in their hometown Hanna Alberta in Canada. After some time they decided to go to Vancouver, there Chad started to write his own songs, later in Vancouver Ryan Vikedal and Ryan Peake joined Chad and Mike Kroeger.
In the beginning till the release of Hesher and Curb they had Brandon Kroeger as Drumer. When Brandon Kroeger in 1997 left their band, Ryan Vikedal took his place. Ryan Vikedal left the band in 2004, since than Daniel Adair is the Drummer of the band. As per todays stand Nickelback’s official band members are Chad Kroeger as singer and guitar player, brother Mike Kroeger playing Bass, Ryan Peake as Guitarist, Daniel Adair as Drummer.
